Elastic Interactive currently has the following open positions:

PHP/mySQL developers
We are looking for PHP/mySQL developers to build and maintain websites for our clients and continue development on existing PHP/mySQL websites.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy and maintain PHP/mySQL web applications
• Aid in the design and development of web applications
• Offer technical consultation during the planning of web projects
• Communicate directly with the client on technical project requirements only as necessary (via phone and email mainly)

Knowledge, Skills and/or ability:

• Required Experience: DHTML/CSS, JavaScript, PHP, mySQL, familiarity with Linux/Unix/Apache environments
• Other Desired Experience: Photoshop (or Fireworks), Flash Actionscript and Web Services, XML, UNIX Administration

Education and /or experience:

• Four-year College degree preferred
• Must have 3+ years experience delivering web solutions
• Must have excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  

Other:

• We need someone who is available immediately and can work quickly. If interested please send resume and references.
• This position is of type 1099 Contract for 3+ months.
• This is a part-time job -- up to 25 hours of programming per week.
• Compensation: What is your desired hourly rate? Payment is hourly-based, not project based.
• Some evenings and weekends are O.K if you have a full time job, but normal business hours preferred.
• This is entirely a telecommuting project and you would have to provide all of the required resources (computer, software as needed, net connection, telephone). You will be required to sign a subcontractor agreement with our firm.
